Answers to the most common questions about Strucxis — how the inspection form works, how reports are generated, demo access, and data privacy.
Strucxis is a bilingual (English/French) field inspection platform for civil engineers, structural inspectors, contractors, and municipal teams. It guides you through 83 structured questions about a concrete structure and produces a formatted PDF report.
It is a documentation tool. The reports are preliminary visual inspections and do not replace a stamped engineering assessment by a licensed professional engineer.
Public sign-up is closed during private beta. To get access, book a demo — we review every request manually and approve eligible professionals within 1–2 business days.
Each approved demo lasts 30 days and is renewable once. After that, contact us about a paid plan.
Strucxis runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox — on desktop, tablet, and mobile. The form is designed to work on a phone on-site, with auto-save so you never lose progress.
Yes. Drafts auto-save every 1.5 seconds — locally on the device and on our server. You can pick up exactly where you left off from any device signed in with the same account.
You can attach multiple photos per defect. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC. Each photo is automatically cropped to a consistent size for the PDF.
Yes — every uploaded photo has an Annotate button that opens an editor where you can draw, add arrows, circles, lines, and text. Annotations are saved alongside the original photo.
Reports generate in either English or French based on the language toggle at the top-right of the form. All UI strings, field labels, defect names, and disclaimers are fully translated.
Not yet — once the PDF is generated, the report is final. If you need a correction, you currently need to generate a new report. Editable past reports are on our roadmap.
Each approved demo grants 30 days of full access. You can request a second (and final) demo if your first one expires.
The access code is unique and not recoverable. Request a new one using the email you signed up with and we'll send a fresh code.
Yes — once per email, you can request a second demo from the Book a Demo page. After the second demo expires, we'd love to chat about a paid plan.

Yes. Go to Account → Data to download a JSON export of your profile, all reports, and metadata. Photos can be downloaded individually from each report.
In Account → Profile, scroll to the bottom for the Delete account option. Your reports and uploaded photos are removed from active systems immediately. Backups may retain the data for up to 30 days as a safeguard against accidental deletion.
Yes — every report is owned by the user who created it. We enforce server-side ownership checks on every download. No one but you can access your reports.
Strucxis is currently free during private beta. Paid plans are coming. Existing demo users will get advance notice and a grace period before any paywall is enabled.
No. Your reports stay accessible. If you choose not to upgrade, you'll still be able to download what you've already generated.
Possible causes, in order of frequency:
Refresh the form page (your draft is auto-saved) and try generating again. If it still fails:
Hard-refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac). If that doesn't work, try a private/incognito window. If the problem persists, our system status will be shown on the homepage during incidents.
